Course Content
The aim is to enable learners to manage workplace practices required in a range of working environments including: role & functions of human resource management, self-management, effective time & task management and compliance with relevant acts and legislation.
Successful completion of this micro-credential will enable a learner to:
Analyse task management within a customer service context and the importance of its application to delivering high quality experiences.
Examine how self-management techniques and effective time management can be applied to maximise the potential of successfully achieving objectives.
Develop a personal development plan including assess personal strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and threats.
Outline and discuss the implications of legislation and regulations relevant to the New Zealand workplace practices.
Define Human Resource Management and outline the main functions of HR within the culture of an organisation.
Entry Requirements
- Relevant work experience
- Meet the required level of English (IELTS 5.5) or equivalent literacy and numeracy skills
Cost
- Domestic Students $960 including GST (NZ citizens, including students from Tokelau, the Cook Islands and Niue. NZ residents, Australian Citizens)
- International Students $1920 including GST

Learner Requirements
Learners will need time to complete their online learning. Because this is online it is flexible to suit the needs of the business. They can complete this full-time, part-time or whenever they have time.
Everyone who takes part in these online Micro-credentials will need to have access to a computer or laptop and working internet.
