Study From Work is a new and relatively unique study option for aspiring managers and leaders in New Zealand workplaces.
We offer NZQA-accredited micro-credentials in a number of specialist subject areas, including Human Resources, Management & Strategic Planning, Financial Planning, and Communication Management.
These micro-credentials are all available via online study, allowing workers to learn in their own time, either during work time or in their own time at home. This can promote positive morale, employee retention, and a more highly skilled workforce for employers, and greater career options for employees.
All of this is supported by our team of experienced professionals at ITC, who have long been involved in providing valuable online and in-person qualifications across Aotearoa.
That’s the basics – but there are plenty of frequently asked questions that can help you to determine exactly how it all works, and whether Study From Work is the right option for you.
What are the entry requirements for learners?
Employees need a level 4 qualification (or overseas equivalent) or relevant work experience, plus suitable literacy and numeracy skills to complete the micro-credential.

Learners require a functional level of literacy and numeracy skills to be successful on a level 5 micro-credential course. If a learner has completed a level 4 or higher qualification in any subject, they will meet the required standard.
