Our people: Meet the amazing management team behind Study From Work

Part of the appeal of Study From Work is that you can organise upskilling and training for your employees online.

That means having the ease of browsing our available micro-credentials, enrolling your team, and seeing your employees work their way through the course, all online.

The downside of course is that you don’t necessarily get to see and meet the team behind it all. Getting to know who created these courses can help you to get a feel for the high level of skill and expertise at the helm of Study From Work.

So without further ado, here is a quick introduction to each person behind Study From Work.

Claire Huxley – Chief Executive

Claire Huxley is originally from the UK, and has a background in international tourism, management, and marketing.

A little over 20 years ago, she moved to New Zealand and became the Marketing Manager for ITC. In that time, she stepped into the Chief Executive role, but has also been the deputy chair of Quality Tertiary Institutions (QTI) for 5 years, a recognised tertiary education sector body for ten Private Training Establishments.

Claire regularly meets with politicians and government agencies, constantly working to improve the learner experience for those taking courses with ITC, Study From Home, and Study From Work.

Irena Wysoczanski – Academic & Quality Manager for Study From Work

Irena spent 25 years working as a Flight Attendant for Air New Zealand before moving into a managerial position at the airline. Eventually, she became the Training Manager for Air New Zealand domestic, international and London bases.

During this time she honed her skills updating and writing training programmes, and putting together upskilling courses for crew. She delivered Cabin Crew Management papers for Massey University, tutored and wrote courses, delivered a leadership programme in Mauritius, and more.

Eventually, Irena stepped into her role at ITC in 2016, and has been an integral part of the team ever since.

Andrew Houston – Campus Manager for Study From Work

With a Bachelor of Business from AUT and years of international travel and work experience, Andrew returned to Aotearoa to work for Air New Zealand. Here, he spent more than a decade working in a variety of roles before moving on to Aviation Security and Flight Centre.

Throughout it all, he discovered a love for training and coaching work. So when he stepped into a role as a tutor with ITC in 2016, he quickly excelled.

Today, Andrew is part of the management team as both Campus manager and tutorial team leader.

Ceri Jenkins – Key Stakeholder Manager for Study From Work

Ceri has been with the ITC team for over 15 years, after having built up a wealth of knowledge and experience in both the travel and tourism industry and the education sector.

His role is to maximise sales and growth, and to enhance awareness of ITC amongst industry networks and secondary schools.

In his time with us, he has seen the huge demand for premier educators such as Study From Work, and the real gap in the market for such an accessible, practical and beneficial online learning option.
